Oral Surgery

What is Oral Surgery?

Oral surgery can be done to improve your oral and dental health. We offer many surgical procedures to fit your needs, and we aim to make the process as comfortable as possible for you. We understand that it can be frightening to come into the office for surgery. Because of this, we provide sedative options that can make the procedure much more comfortable for you.

Why is Oral Surgery needed?

Oftentimes, oral surgery is needed to improve your smile. For example, decayed or loose teeth are removed and replaced with effective alternatives. Impacted teeth and problematic wisdom teeth can be removed to prevent future problems from occurring. Sedation can be done on both pediatric and adult patients on an as needed basis. Oral surgery is customized for each patient, so you’ll always receive the dedicated care that you need using the latest dental technology.

What can be expected with Oral Surgery?

To begin the surgical process, we will have a consultation with you. This consultation will involve an exam and x-rays. We will determine what type of surgery is needed and the best way to perform it in our office. For more complicated surgeries, we may refer you to a specialist. We then schedule you to come into our office to have the surgery performed. We offer nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation to make the procedure as comfortable as possible for you.
